Task: The task was simply to take a portrait of someone for a photography class, but I came up with a concept to take it further.
Solution: A moon lamp creates the “magic” of this photo, illuminating the subject’s face dramatically while creating an interesting focal point. I directed my brother to pose for this photo. I took multiple photos with different exposures and then layered two in Photoshop to show the detail in both the light and dark areas of the photo.
