Task: Design a tour poster for a band, real or fictional, along with an album cover and tour ticket.
Solution: I chose to make up my own “band,” which features my violin student and I as a lively, dynamic violin duo. The name, Vivace Violins, refers to the musical tempo “vivace,” which means spirited and indicates that the music should be played very fast. I took photos of us and put them into the background which I created in Photoshop. I picked a unique font for our name and used a three-column layout to display the tour dates and locations.
